Bloodlines Review Facebook
Bloodlines Facebook Banner
This is a review of the online sensation called Bloodlines. A spin off of a game created by now dead Whitewolf Studios, this online vampire game allows the user to assume a dark persona to act out a number of fun missions, attack other members of their networking site, and much much more.
I would say that the main attraction to the Bloodlines on Facebook lies within the mission portion. The game begins by placing the user in an alley, not completely unlike the Bloodlines Masquerade game. The user then has several choices in front of them. Choosing missions that follow a "light" path, they can earn points that way, or they can truly indulge all their dark desires and follow a "dark" path and earn points that way.
As a user proceeds through missions they earn several types of rewards.
For every level they achieve, they earn a point of favor from the Cabal. These allow the user to purchase goods from the game. These include a zombie (IE another "friend" within your clan), blood (IE currency to purchase powers and companions), special powers (IE make your vampire stronger when fighting other players), or refills of your stats (IE energy, life, or chi). The Cabal are also impressed by feats accomplished by the vampire throughout the game, such as defeating powerful enemies, or acquiring certain companions.
For every mission they achieve, users are rewarded with blood, the currency used within the game, and experience. Once a user gains enough experience, they gain a level. Allowing the user to increase their stats, and unlock harder missions are just some of the cool features that gaining levels unlock. Some missions also reward the user with other benefits, such as extra story, companions, and artifacts.
The user uses blood to purchase powers that allow them to better attack other players, and also to accomplish tougher missions. Fangs is the first power that a user usually buys, allowing them to accomplish the mission of tapping an innocent. As the user progresses through Bloodlines, these powers get stronger, and the missions get harder. The other players also get stronger, so attacks become more frequent.
The user can also use blood to purchase companions. These act as "stocks" and generate "dividends" in blood every hour.

My Review Of Bloodlines On Facebook
Gameplay: 9
A very fun game, addicting, and allows the user to gain levels fast in the beginning, and slows down at just the right pace. Lots of different stats and numbers to watch, which makes this click and wait game very addicting. Often find my self logging on at just the right hour in order to accomplish a mission that give me just enough experience to move up a level, which recharges stats, and allows me to play more.
Graphics: 5
This a low graphics game. Most action happens through pictures and text. If you are not into that type of game, you will not like this game. While these graphics are extremely relevent and fun, given that they are text and pictures, is why we have rated this high.
Multiplayer: 10
This is a highly multiplayer game. While many users might acutally be intimated that they have to invite friends to join their clan. That is what the application recommends, but there are many groups in facebook that are dedicated to getting you people to join your clan. So within minutes, you can have many clan members, if your friends are not really into this type of game.
Overall Grade: 8
While this game suffers from a lack of powerful graphics, it more than makes up for it in its ability to allow hundreds of players interact with one another. Basing the game within a social network gives the game is strongest asset. The gameplay, while being somewhat straight in course, allows the user to make unique decisions. These decisions are not ones that you must make one way or another to avoid massive punishment. Instead they reflect the path the player chooses.
So if you are looking for an easy, fun, not visually intense game to pick up in your spare 5 minutes a day, this is a great choice. If you are looking for a more full time RPG that requires hours and hours of game play, this is not for you, try World Of Warcraft.

Great guide! Could you update it to be like your guide on mafia wars? That one was a bit more fair and sounds like you were a bit more experienced.
